How to change YouTube channel name on desktop
1. Navigate to the YouTube website and, if necessary, sign in to your account.
2. Select Your Channel by clicking your profile icon in the upper-right area of the page.
3. Select the blue Channel Customization icon.
4. Select the Basic Information tab.
5. Click the pencil-shaped Edit button next to your current channel’s name.
6. Add the name of your selected channel to the text box.
7. To modify your channel’s name, click the blue Publish button situated in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Important: Changing your channel’s name will result in the removal of your verification badge; you will need to reapply for it to be reinstated.
How to change YouTube channel name on mobile
On an Android or iPhone, the method is identical.
1. Launch the YouTube app and, if necessary, sign in to your account.
2.Toggle your profile image in the upper-right area of the display.
3. Choose Your Channel
4. Select Edit Channel
5. Select the pencil-shaped Edit icon located next to your name.
6. Add your desired channel name in the text box and touch the check mark in the top-right corner, or OK, depending on your phone.
