The Facebook feminist disclosed that since she got married, 98% of her opinions have not changed due to marriage.
She also revealed that just 2 things have changed.
She wrote,
I spent many years on Facebook voicing my opinions about marriage and several things. And be rest assured that whenever my opinions change, I’ll come here on Facebook to let you all know.
Shebi nah to bash? One week’s highest, you people will move on. But I’ll keep talking for as long as I want.
So many people were of the opinion that if I ever get married, most of my opinions will change. And I’m here to announce that 98% of my opinions have NOT changed due to marriage.
What has changed? Just 2 things.
- I said that besides my own father and mother; that I will NOT call any man or woman Mummy and Daddy. Well, I’m pleased to announce to you that I call my mother in-law and father in-law Mummy/Mama and Daddy/Eze respectively. My father in-law loves me so much mehn. Why won’t I call him daddy? Why? I dey crase? You can come and beat me.
- I now understand in practical terms that when you truly love someone, you want to go out of your way to make yourself happy. Sometimes, go against the PERSONAL policies you’ve lived by for years.
I love my husband so much, and I will do ALMOST ANYTHING to make him happy.
I did not use to like anyone to tell me what to do. But I think I don’t mind that anymore so long as it’s from this MY Mbasie man
